Green Water Processes

The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and NWO invite consortia in which researchers from knowledge institutions from The Netherlands and China work with societal partners from public, semi-public and/or private organisations, to submit proposals for research on Green water processes.

Many societal challenges are complex and interrelated. To address them requires sustainable collaboration, and flexibility and creativity to achieve sustainable results for effective and impactful solutions. The collaborative research financed by CAS and NWO in this call is intended to work towards scientific knowledge and sustainable, innovative solutions for high scientific and societal impact. The current water sector, including drinking water supply and wastewater management systems, is confronted with many challenges. This call focusses on Green Water Processes to further enhance the possibilities for the development of the processes in drinking water supply and wastewater management that include nature based solutions.

The deadline for the submission of full proposals (mandatory) is 2nd March 2023, 14:00:00 CET to NWO / 3 March 2023, 16:00:00 CST to CAS.
